I had an awesome time with my sons last weekend, attending the Drum Corps International (DCI) finals in Indianapolis. Congratulations to my favorite corps, the Cadets, for winning with their show "Between Angels and Demons." I took this picture with my iPhone and tweaked it on my Mac with Topaz Clean.
Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 9:02PM Who knew that the iPhone camera could be so much fun. I took this picture of the boys at the Inn at Virginia Tech. Then I used three apps on the iPhone to make this photo look artsy. I used ToonPaint to create a ‘layer’ with just the outlines of the features, Blur to create a ‘layer’ that was just the colors in the picture, and Blender to merge the two ‘layers.’ I did it all on the iPhone. Pretty cool! 
Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 9:53AM Being 'between cameras,' which is not coincidentally like being between spouses or significant others, has led me to explore this wonderful camera I carry around with me all the time. It's called an iPhone and it is quite an amazing camera. Plus, you can do quite a lot of fun editing right on the phone.

Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 9:14AM Just last Sunday, in advance of the hotel closing, the Speed rollercoaster at the Saraha Casino made it's last run. It wasn't the biggest or fastest, or even the best, but we will miss it non the less.
I used Topaz Clean, a fun program to play with, to make this picture look artsy.
