Who Am I?

My day job is as Chief Financial Officer for a large school district in Nevada, but I am on the inside a creative at heart (or at least, want to be). I ended up in finance as a profession, for many reasons (most I have now forgotten). But it provides a good living.

Before finishing college with a Finance major and MBA, I actually was a music major. Up until a few years ago, in fact, I was fairly active as an amateur/semi-pro musician. Now, my creative outlet is photography and design. After laying off photography for 25 years or so, I again took it up again a few years ago. It is a major source of fun and relief for me.
